The Republic of Cyprus is located in the Mediterranean Sea on the Island of Cyprus and divided in the North by Turkey. Nicosia, the capital is surrounded by Venetian walls and has a rich history. Cyprus is recognized for its rough terrain with wine regions that are over 4000 years old. This country is a major Mediterranean spot for incredible beaches and local cuisine.
