A western European country, Germany is famous for its history, culture, and landscape. The capital, Berlin is a hot spot for shopping, galleries, nightlife, restaurants and World War II historical sights. From the Alps to the winding rivers, the terrain of Germany is stunning and interesting to explore. When you think of Germany you may think of their beers, food, and cars. Munich has the annual Oktoberfest which over 6 million people a year visit and drink class German beers in their traditional Lederhosen.
