Luxembourg

A small European country, Luxembourg is landlocked and mainly rural. Luxembourg city, the capital is perched atop cliffs overlooking the Alzette and the Pétrusse Rivers. Even though Luxembourg is a small country, it has so many so much to do and many UNESCO World Heritage Sites to see. The Gothic Revival Cathedral of Notre Dame in Luxembourg city cannot be missed and also the Grand Ducal Palace encircled by cobblestone paths. In the town of Echternach, you can find the country’s patron saint, Willibrord, buried in the prominent basilica of the Abbey of Echternach. see more see less
