Part of the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland can be found in western Europe. Green landscapes, castles, mountains, glacial valleys and stunning golf courses dot this country. Belfast, the capital is known for building the Titanic, Botanic Gardens, and the Grand Opera House. The Giant’s Causeway is a weird volcanic rock phenomenon that is a must-see in Northern Ireland. There is a folk tale that says a giant created this rock bridge and another giant destroyed it leaving weird rock formations.
