Lima, Peru

The capital city of Peru is less traditional and Arequipa or Cuzco but still has a lot to offer with its many museums for instance. The size of the city makes it easy to find good accommodation even with a low budget. The town was entirely rebuilt in 1746 after an earthquake. The huge plaza and wide streets are a legacy of the colonial period. see more see less
